That it took until Sunday's three-wicket win over India for them to achieve their initial ODI chase over 300, reclaiming their record for the largest in women's cricket's 50-over format, is, frankly, a testament to the bowling attack that have represented Australia over the last half-century.

Once she was removed her side required another 66 at one run per ball - an achievable target now needing a comfortable finish.

"Pursuing 330 is unfamiliar ground so I'm pleased we have the confidence to accomplish that now," added Healy.

"Ideally we won't need to repeat it but, should it happen, we believe we can do it."

These statements will be the ultimate thing competing nations at this tournament want to hear.

In recent days a belief they will triumph from any situation has become more firm - this triumph coming after win against Pakistan by 107 runs despite sitting at 76-7 at one point.

Next Australia play Bangladesh before an encounter with longtime competitors England in Indore in a week and a half, by which point a semi-final berth may probably be guaranteed.
