In a bizarre crossover event that challenges conventional expectations, the game developer has announced an digital collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, including complimentary additional story content for Shadows players.

According to the official statement, "A mysterious meeting draws characters Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh mission, where hints of forbidden practices and terrifying transformations reverberate through the obscurity." The narrative introduces a "oddly attired woman named Ada" who assigns the characters with traveling into the Crystalline Cavern—a important location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her ally from a hidden group.
The mission focuses on "strange tests and a monstrous enemy" and is available to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.
Recognizable Places and Metamorphoses
The teaser highlights the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This important location was previously where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The trailer ends with a dramatic scene showing a character, likely the hostage, transforming into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.
